Compared with the traditional CRT, the LCD liquid crystal display is not only small in size, thin in thickness, light in weight, low in energy consumption, low in working voltage (1.5 to 6V), and has no radiation, no flicker, and can directly match with CMOS integrated circuits.
(1) Power saving, no high temperature
It is a product with low power consumption, and it can achieve no heat at all (the main power consumption and heat generation part exists in the backlight tube or LED), while the CRT display screen inevitably generates high temperature due to the imaging technology.
(2) The body is thin, saving space
Compared with the relatively bulky CRT display screen, the LCD screen only needs one-third of the space of the former.
(3) Low radiation, good for health
The radiation of LCD screens is much lower than that of CRT screens (just low, not completely free of radiation, electronic products have more or less radiation), which is a boon for people who work in front of computers all day.
(4) The picture is soft and does not hurt the eyes
Unlike CRT technology, the LCD screen does not flicker, which can reduce the damage of the screen to the eyes, and the eyes are not easy to fatigue. LCD display screen is a display screen using liquid crystal as material. Liquid crystals are organic compounds between solid and liquid. It becomes a clear liquid when heated, and a crystalline, cloudy solid when cooled. Under the action of an electric field, the arrangement of liquid crystal molecules will change, thereby affecting the change of light passing through it. This change of light can be expressed as a change of light and dark through the action of the polarizer. In this way, through the control of the electric field, people finally control the light and dark changes of light, so as to achieve the purpose of displaying images.
