What is a serial port screen?

The serial port screen is a "color LCD module that uses serial communication to control display and touch interaction."

 

The physical structure is roughly divided into three parts: 1. The topmost touch screen (capacitive touch screen or resistive touch screen);

                                              2. TFT LCD display;

                                              3. Control mainboard; both the touch screen and TFT screen are general components, with the core business unit being the control mainboard.

 

Main control board: The control mainboard consists of MCU, FLASH, interface circuits, power supply, etc. Its main functions are to detect touch and control TFT display (GUI), as well as communicate with external control boards via serial port (the main interfaces used are UART, RS-232, RS-485).

 

Product size: Regular product sizes range from 2.4 inches to 15.6 inches.

 

Interface development software: A major core advantage of the serial port screen is the ability to design the display interface (UI) through "drag-and-drop" using "visual interface editing" software.
